Functionally it works well.
Changing the battery could have been made a little easier. Not difficult, mind you, but it is always a pain to use a 9v battery clip and trying to place it back in the case to close.
The unit is a bit bulky compared to other vendor offering.

I recommend linking it to your Chime unit prior to mounting. Just follow the instructions, very easy to do. No adapter was needed.

I purchased this item well over a 2 years ago on Amazon for use in the open doorway to my antiques shop, which is about 75 yards away from my house, along with the Honeywell RCWL330A1000/N P4-Premium Portable Wireless Door Chime and Push Button. It works great. I'm alerted in the house every time someone enters the shop so I don't have to constantly watch. Its also a great wireless front door bell for my house. I should note that the area between the house and shop is both clear and flat so I can't attest to a situation which might be heavily wooded etc.

We recently returned from a week long trip to a couple of national parks in Utah. I wanted to hike with my D90 at the ready, plus have a hydration backpack and use trekking poles. After investing in an Osprey backpack, because I couldn't find a hydration camera pack combo, I ordered this harness in hopes it could keep my camera handy, yet safe. The harness worked better than I expected, a value well beyond the reasonable purchase price.

Just so everyone knows, the straps are 100% elastic with 2 plastic clips that hook to you camera or binoculars. The elastic stretches enough, but not much. I unhooked my Crumpler Industry Disgrace neck strap, and replaced it with the male and female connectors that come in the package. It didn't take 5 minutes. I then tightened the elastic loops so that it would be a snug fit and keep the camera very high on my chest. It was easy to then put the harness on and clip the camera in.

When hiking, the camera bounced around a little, but I never had to hold it with a hand. Even when jumping down off a 2 foot ledge, the camera felt secure. Usually I had a shorter lens on, which helped, I am sure. When pulling the camera up for a landscape shot, I didn't have to unhook it, but sometimes the harness and the backpack's sternum strap got in each others way. For portrait orientation, I always unclipped one side or the other. With one side unclipped, I had enough range of motion for 90% of the pictures I wanted to take. When I was done shooting, I quickly reclipped and I was back on the trail looking for the next great shot without worring about the camera being secure, or being a bother. I really felt like both a hiker, and a photographer, with no trade-offs.

I did start to feel the straps after 4 hours on the trail. This is where 100% elastic is a drawback. Perhaps a pad on the shoulder blades would help, but that would drive the cost up.

What I wish I had in addition to this, is a way to easily carry another lens in front so that I didn't have to have my wife dig the other one out of my pack when I wanted to switch. I'll look for something that can attach to the pack's waist strap. Now I have to decide if I can easily switch back and forth between my Crumpler neck strap and the Op/Tech harness, depending on the situation.

I'm 5'3" and small-framed. I had to cut off 6" off each side and "surgerize" the thing. Aside from that, I also had to add some stitching, once I had it how I liked, to attach together the straps that go over each shoulder; there should have been some plastic clippery available to flatten and bind these, so that it's easier to put on. Otherwise you're wrangling with what seems to be 3 straps for each side.

Overall, it's hard to take on and off, because you have to unclip the camera before unlooping each arm out of the now messily dangling straps. I think that's part of the point, that it should be so comfortable that you keep it on all the time, but since it doesn't hold the camera (a nikon dslr) facing down, but instead, out, it can still be annoying to have it out in front of you always, sticking out however many inches. You can't even swing it to one side, as I would have if I had it on a normal strap, cross-body.

I was so excited to get this package a few days after ordering it. I have heard mixed reviews about it, but the good reviews were GREAT, so I figured, why not? I don't have yellow teeth, I just wanted to get whiter teeth from it. The product is hard to use, the trays are hard to mold to your teeth, and they make your spit foam. Weird? I know. I had a horrible experience and I will definitely be using Crest Whitestrips or the dentist from now on!

I've used this (Chinese made) salad spinner for over two months.

Pros:
Okay, it's better than my previous Italian made spinner with the crank. Even though that one has a larger capacity than this KitchenAid, it was prone to getting unbalanced which the KitchenAid has yet to do. The dividers work for helping to spin dry herbs like cilantro, even when I just place it in one of the three divided compartments. No unbalance.

Cons:
Unlike my old one and the Oxo, the design of the KitchenAid does not allow me to easily wash or rinse items using the drying basket insert: the plunger in the center easily takes in water which I'd prefer not to get water inside. I was able to remove the plunger assembly although it did take some effort to remove it the first time. While I can live with accidentally locking the plunger while spinning the basket, it's annoying that the base of the bowl has a plastic ring with holes. I'm guessing the holes create a semi-seal to help hold the bowl in place during spinning. The down side is that water enters these holes during washing and the bowl must air dry overnight preventing me from just wiping it down and storing it away immediately.

I've noticed that the Oxo salad spinners are also available with a stainless bowl as well as the spinner assembly can be taken apart for cleaning. I'll probably be my next spinner.

This product doesn't live up to the KitchenAid name. Less than six months and it's broken. The packaging said it was dishwasher safe. The only problem with that is that it has small holes on the bottom of the bin which fill up with the dishwasher water. Needless to say when I take it out of the dishwasher, all of the dirty water comes out of the cylinder from the holes on the bottom. It's really gross.

This thing was a piece of crap. The bowl cracked while I washing it one day, it always wobbled around on the counter when I was spinning lettuce, and the worst part was that the lid never stayed on so it made quite a mess if you were not quick to stop the spinning. One day it fell one the floor and broke into a bunch of small pieces but I was actually relieved so I could go buy something more quality. Do not make a mistake and buy this.

I have to agree with the reviewers that said this sleeper can only be used for a short period because it's so small, but for the time it can be used, it is a fabulous and useful product. I used this for my 6 lb DD. We stretched it's usefulness for 10 weeks before we transitioned to her crib. We put it away and brought it out for our new 7 lb DS. We successfully stretched its usefulness for 12 weeks. It is perfect for what it is. A sleeper that allows new moms and dads co-sleep with their precious new born. By the time both my babies were 2 months old, I was comfortable transitioning them to their crib. I don't think it is designed to be a long term co-sleeper. I bought one for my sister but her 9lb baby was too big for it so if you have a huge baby, this is not the item for you.

I bought this for our second-born, and wish I would've had it for the first. The first two weeks our son struggled to sleep soundly in it...no fault of the product, just being a newborn. We began placing him in it for naps during the day, (took it downstairs during the day...so easy to move it room to room) and he quickly got used to it. I feel so much more peaceful knowing he's in it. The nightlight is incredibly useful...sometimes too bright but I place the burp cloth over it while he's nursing and it's just right. It's true the footrest makes it to where he will outgrow it by 4 months I'm sure, but it wasn't terribly expensive and well worth it. It's also fantastic for travel, and I suspect it will help him transition to his crib. Buy it...especially if you nurse, and don't want to get out of bed to get your baby every time they wake up.

This product is very disappointing and the build construction is simply cheap. I have tried two of them and both times the light does not work (probably because it is absurdly located at the end of the tray and prone to all types of damage). Secondly - simply put - it does not have USB 3.0 speed. Tried on a number of machines, SSD's and other hard drives and the speed is simply not there. Wasted a lot of time running back and forth with these two failed units and all could have been avoided if manufacturer had accurately /described/advertised its product.

I'm handy, but not a computer technician. It was easy to open this up, install a hard drive, close it up again, and start using it. Picked it based on the good reviews I'd already seen. Although it came with a driver disk, I just let Windows install the drivers automatically. This is always what I prefer doing because who knows what crapware a manufacturer's disk will try to install. Works just fine.

I really like this fan. It gives off a nice, cool breeze. What I like most is that the air doesn't feel forced like an air conditioner. It gives off more of a natural breeze that feels really good.

A nice energy-saving feature is that you can set the fan to shut off after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. With my windows open, I barely notice the sound of the fan on the first speed. I do notice the sound at speed 3. Depending on how sensitive your ears are, you may find the sound at level 3 a little annoying. It makes sort of a low to mid-range buzzing/humming sound - from the motor I suppose.

Attaching the base to the fan took about 10 minutes or so...not rocket science; just a little awkward. I found that using a flat head instead of a Phillips screwdriver allowed me to really tighten the screws to the base. If the screws are not tightened enough, you will have a real wobbly fan. So tighten those screws.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this fan. However, I would have given this product five stars if it were more silent on the higher speeds.

The unit itself is 4 or 5 stars for short term functionality, unknown for long term usage because we've only used the units so far for a cumulative few months so we just don't know how they will hold up, and zero stars for customer service and support from the manufacturer/distributor.

Functionality: the units are nice looking, have a small footprint in a room, put out a lot of air fairly quietly, and the remote and settings all work. We used one last summer and added two this summer.

Warranty Support: Zero. One of the units we received was unusable out of the box because it was shipped with "two left feet" and could therefore not be assembled and used. It has a nominal five year warranty, so I followed the manual in contacting the manufacturer to send a replacement part for the missing base. They responded that they would "normally" supply a replacement for the unit, but they don't "have any", and don't know when they _will_ have any, so check back with them someday to see if they will ever provide warranty support. The five year warranty is a complete lie, in other words. This was a DOA problem, so we got Amazon to replace the unit instead, but be warned that the warranty is not honored by the manufacturer. To add insult to injury, because I gave an email address to the manufacturer when seeking warranty support, they are now sending me unsolicited spam about their other products!

Note that we haven't sought warranty support from the manufacturer's competitors, so I can't say whether any of them are better or not. The fan itself is nice, so if you get one, get it from a reputable retailer and check it out thoroughly for out of the box defects, while it can still be returned if necessary.

My first one of these fans ran mostly 24x7 for almost 21 months. I use it in the winter to circulate the uneven heat in my apartment. I leave it on all night and all day. In the summer, I use it to circulate the cool air from my air conditioner. I always left it on during the day when I went to work. The bearing finally started chirping after 21 months. I never cleaned the thing either. I expect to get another two years out of the new one. Oh yeah, great way to dry off after a shower, lol.
